Our Story

 In 2021, I left my career to become a stay-at-home-mom to my beautiful son, Théo.  The transition of staying home with a newborn was quite challenging, which led me to experience postpartum depression and anxiety.

I could only overcome this by finding a new hobby to keep my mind occupied. I have always had a passion for arts & craft, but this time I was willing to challenge myself to go further. 

After years of neglecting my sowing machine, it was time for me to fully explore my creativity in the world of needles and threads. The dream of creating a space where my ideas come to life and share to the world my love for handmade items has now come. 

Maipoppy, which name was inspired by my son's nickname (Poppy) and what he would call me in his early years of life. (Mai) I hope each person who purchases from our shop knows that each item was made with so much love and care.
